Bonjour je suis Beatrice

Béatrice specialises in teaching French to adults of all levels. She also teaches children from the age of seven and can help students prepare for French examinations, including GCSE, IGCSE, A-level, DELF and DALF. Béatrice is DBS checked.

She holds a master’s degree specialising in translation and language teaching in French, English and Spanish. Béatrice has taught in both state and private schools, as well as privately with adults and children. She has also successfully prepared students for their GCSE and IGCSE examinations.

Her love of languages grew from her passion for travel. She studied foreign languages at school and university and developed her fluency further while travelling and living in different countries.

She is friendly and approachable and enjoys creating a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and gardening. She believes that a good teacher should bring their passion for both language and culture into their lessons, while adding a touch of humour.

In addition to French, Béatrice is fluent in English and Spanish. She studied both languages at school and university before further developing her fluency through travelling and living in countries where they are spoken.
