French native from Paris
Alexandra specialises in teaching children who are following the French curriculum through schools or through the CNED. On top of her specialisation, she is also tutoring adults and children of any level and abilities. She is DBS checked and can tutor children from the age of 3.
She started tutoring French while studying in La Sorbonne (Paris) by helping foreigners students with their homework and French skills. In France she has worked in schools and was in charge of organising activities for small groups of young children (2 to 5 years old). Since she moved to London, she has tutored children and adults of any levels, helping them with exams like GCSE, A-level or IB.
Alexandra loves to learn and share her knowledge about her mother tongue. She is efficient, organised and equally patient. She has travelled a lot during her childhood and as a result she can easily adapt herself to different situations. She knows how to handle children’s behaviour. Her clients say that she is a really kind and calm individual and a good listener too.
She believes a good teacher must like to learn and have ability to build relationship with their clients and especially have confidence in their potential to progress.
On top of French and English, she also speak Spanish and Russian. She has learnt them at a young age and therefore understands how challenging it can be to maintain a good level of fluency when you speak several languages.
